NEW PORTRAIT EXAMPLE

THE LAY-IN AND DETAIL STAGE:                                                                                         I FINISHED THE LAY-IN AND SOFTENED THE ENTIRE PIECE. THIS ENABLES ME TO SEE MORE CLEARLY WHAT AND WHERE TO PUT THE DETAIL.
AFTER STUDYING THE PORTRAIT FOR A WHILE I SEE I NEED TO WORK ON THE BACKGROUND A LITTLE MORE. I NEED TO PUT MORE DETAIL IN THE DOOR, DECK AND PUMPKINS.
YOU CAN SEE THAT I WORKED ON THE DOOR A LITTLE AND WORKED ON THE DECK MORE. I NEEDED TO MAKE THE DECK RECEED TO THE DOOR.
I ALSO WORKED ON THE HANDS AND FACE OF THE SUBJECT A LOT MORE. I NEEDED TO MAKE SURE THE HANDS DIDN'T TAKE AWAY FROM THE FACE OF THE SUBJECT AND STILL SEEM TO BE A SECOND INTEREST IN THE PAINTING.
